Posting this review from work done about two years ago… we had a smooth coat stucco over an existing sand finish which we had already sandblasted. Dave was reasonable with the scope and very helpful in obtaining samples with color selections and some extra detail work. We had gone with a mesh coat underneath the smooth coat as recommended by Dave to prevent cracks… so far the finish remains beautiful with very minimal hair line cracking that we expected. If you are deciding smooth vs sand finish, smooth all the way as the depth and overall appearance is bar none. I recommend sealing the lower half with a stucco sealer to prevent stains caused by irrigation/rainfall that is easily applied by a garden sprayer, this will help greatly to keep the finish looking great.

Dave and his crew are amazing. We did white smooth stucco across the entire front of our house. I am a perfectionist and we were very specific about the way we wanted it to turn out and DLX did not disappoint! The finish feels like glass, it is so smooth, and the color came out great. My house was undergoing some major remodeling and Dave was great about the whole process, being flexible on scheduling and working around the other work going on. The other thing that stood out about DLX was how great their crew was. They were all very friendly to my wife, kids, and I and they were very respectful towards our house – taking great care to tape/protect all areas and cleaning everything up when they were done. I also had them patch the stucco around the back windows where I got new construction windows and they blended in the stucco perfectly. Pics don’t do it justice, but the work from DLX came out perfectly!
